Yonge Suites welcomes pets as we understand they are an integral part of your family and look forward to meeting them. 

For the health, safety and comfort of your pet and all guests, we take this opportunity to advise you of the following Pet Policies to ensure your pets stay is a most enjoyable one:

  • There is a limit of one (1) dog not exceeding 35 kg, or (2) cats per suite.  All pets must be fully house trained and at least 6 months of age.
  • Your pet must comply with local legislation as defined by the City of Toronto, and Provincial Animal Welfare Act of Ontario.
  • Pets must be kept on a short lead at all times throughout all public areas of the hotel.   
  • We prefer that your pet is not left unattended in your suite.  Should an emergency arise, our associates are not permitted to enter your suite without you or a dog-sitter present.
  • Please arrange with our Guest Services Manager a convenient time for our housekeeper’s entry, during which time the pet must be contained and in your control.
  • Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure that other guests are not inconvenienced.
  • For the safety of your pet and all guests, pets are not permitted in the Fitness Room, Business Lounge or 3rd floor Terrace areas of the hotel.
  • A Pet Fee applies to your stay (which includes food and water bowls, pet toy, short term kitty litter and box or doggie bags) and is intended for the deep cleaning required to return the suite to its non-allergenic condition.  
  • The above Pet Fee is exclusive of any Damages to the suite or property.  The Hotel reserves the right to charge your account for any Damages, as well as any lost room revenue until the suite can be sold again at its original condition.
  • You agree to be responsible for any Damages, and / or personal injuries resulting from your Pet.
  • You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yonge Suites, its owners and its operator from all liability and damage suffered as a result of your pet.
